working in our new studio, mixing a new song - Spinning the sun around fingers..

Some month after our previous song - The Moon was released and toped radio charts, for the joy of our fans and ourselves, we have finally launched our next single - Another day! Title of song explains everything - it does not matter how hard thing may roll out for You, and what a terrible things could happen, but there is always another day. A day You may start all over and make it Your way.

This song initially was written some time ago for a movie named “Somebody Ethan” and sounded quite different, due to the content and style of that movie. And..we were so concerned that melody is quite good and it has to be kept in mind. So, now working on our first album we gathered all the possible songs that might be included in it and we were (we are) 100% sure, this one has to. We rearranged it, reproduced it and here it is.

This is our brand new webpage and you are WELCOME to sneak around it. Take a look at all the stuff we have gathered here – audios, videos, pictures, artworks, etc. All of this was possible due to the great web-page developer and web-designer Peter Alex Pedersen – the guy who had to listen to all of our crazy ideas and find solutions to make them come true. And he knows his thing for sure as we didn’t have to say a thing twice and he caught our point at once, so everything went nicely and smoothly.

Huge THANKS also goes to the young and talented painter - Marta Zariņa whom painted all of those great artworks that are used in our webpage header. Some of those artworks will be used to design our upcoming album.

Our band “S.P.B.” was established in early autumn of 2006 and it happened quite accidentally.
Once Janis Aispurs (singer, piano and accoustic guitar) and Arturs Eglitis (keyboards and the second voice), for whom music was predestined, asked to be enclosed in a list of bands of a huge corporative event. More or less it was a joke, because by that moment we did’t have a band and songs. But by the way we promised, that we are capable of making a good performance.

To continue this journey, we had to accomplish our band. First one we asked to join was Ingars Vilums (bass player) and Ingars said YES. This was really good, because he was and is a very experienced musician. Afterwards Janis revealed the idea of making a band to his old classmate Normunds, who used to play guitar. He joined them as well. To be able to perform they had to find a drummer - and like a salvation came our drummer - Andris, who was suggested by Ingars, who knew the guy was one of the best drummers.

Ultimately we were ready to make some songs and to perform on the promised show. This show turned out to be our first little success. Afterwards we decided to try our luck on radio waves. By the end of 2006 we brought our song “Pearl tears” to Radio SWH, and shortly it was enclosed in to radio’s play list and TOP 20. By March 2007 it reached the top spot (Nr.1 !!!) of TOP20.

Inspired by the success of our first song, we once again presented another song to radio SWH named “Poet”. And we did’t have to wait for a long. In a couple of weeks our band once again reached the top spot and became the most listened and Nr.1 song of a month.

Our third single “Feeling behind” reached TOP3 spot in Radio SWH and various radio stations all across the Latvia. In 2007 (and BIG thank’s to platformamusic.lv) we made our debut in MTV: video of our first song “Pearl tears” was accepted by MTV Baltic and was broadcasted in all three Baltic countires - Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania. Our fourth single “The Moon” reached already TOP 1 position by june of 2008. Now we have finished our fifth song.. Another Day

In 2007 we participated in both leading music festivals on Latvia’s rock scene: “Baltic Beach Party” and “PositivusAB”.

At the present moment we are working in our studio for our first ever album and we are looking for new challenges

Our drummer, most rhythmical member of the band. The story of pure genious begins here … he senses music from a half of a word or even a half of sound…. Being a drummer is not an occupation for him, it is his lifestyle. And that’s why he is one of the best Latvian drummers.

Third of the ‘masters”, with a degree of Business administration and Economics. He is our guitar player and our biggest ‘Artist’, but by good means. Some say, he even looks like the third of Gallagher brothers…
